Betty Buckley Will Debut Story Songs This Fall

Following two previous sold-out engagements, Tony Award winner Betty Buckley will return to Feinstein’s at the Nikko for two performances of her brand-new show, Story Songs, October 21 at 8 PM and October 22 at 7 PM.

The Olivier Award nominee will share a collection of songs by Radiohead, Stephen Schwartz, Jason Robert Brown, Joe Iconis and Ben Toth. Buckley will be joined by her long-time musical director and arranger, jazz pianist Christian Jacob.

Betty Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway’s Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter.

Buckley just completed shooting the new M. Night Shyamalan film “Split,” co-starring James McAvoy. The film will be released in January 2017.
